CPMCA Hosts Successful Networking Event at Cal Poly Pomona

CPMCA recently organized a Student Chapter Mixer at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), attracting around 80 students who were eager to learn more about the construction industry. The event gave these students a sneak peek into career opportunities in plumbing and mechanical contracting, including insightful conversations and valuable networking opportunities.

One of the event’s highlights was the opportunity for students to hear the firsthand experiences of Cal Poly Pomona alumni who have excelled in their careers with CPMCA contractor companies. Seeing these graduates thrive gave students a clear picture of what success in the construction industry looks like, and how they could follow a similar path to a rewarding career.

As proud sponsors of the new Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Student Chapter at Cal Poly Pomona, CPMCA aims to nurture the next generation of construction leaders. We’d like to extend our sincere appreciation to the students, alumni, contractor member companies, and all those involved in making the event a resounding success. Your enthusiasm and engagement inspire us to continue our efforts in recruiting talented, hard-working people to build a career in the construction industry.
